Parish
The teachings of Jesus Christ are at the heart of Sts Peter and Paul Primary School, as our Catholic ethos is embedded within the culture of the whole school community. We recognise our role of evangelisation to give witness to the Gospels in all we do. We respect and nurture the dignity of each individual in our diverse community.
Masses and prayer celebrations
Dates for masses are set on the term calendar after consultation with the Parish Priest. We celebrate whole school masses for Holy Days of Obligation and special Feast Days, including Saints Peter and Paul’s on 29 June and the Feast of the Transfiguration on 6 August. In addition, significant events such as the commencement of the school year, Grandparents Day and Year 6 Graduation are also celebrated.
Masses are celebrated at the school, usually at 12.00pm on the designated days.
Sacramental Program
As parents are the primary educators of their children, the school and parish endeavour to include active parent participation in the faith development of children. This is particularly evident through the Parish-based Sacramental Preparation Program at Saints Peter and Paul.
